Melexis is expanding its Triphibian pressure sensor family with new low-pressure variants starting at 2 bar, extending the range of direct pressure measurement into compact cooling circuits used in electric vehicles and AI data centers.
The Belgian company says the new versions are designed to address applications where pressure monitoring is needed at lower levels than its existing offerings covered. By adding these low-pressure models, Melexis broadens the Triphibian line to better fit thermal management systems that are becoming more compact and more demanding, particularly in EVs and high-density computing infrastructure.
The move reflects growing demand for accurate pressure sensing in cooling loops, where direct measurement can help improve system control and reliability. Melexis positions the expanded range as a way to support both automotive electrification and the rapid build-out of AI data center cooling, two markets where efficient thermal management is increasingly critical.
