Norwegian contract manufacturer Kitron is stepping up its industrial expansion in Scandinavia with two major moves: a new factory planned in Horsens, Denmark, and the recent opening of its Longum site in Norway.
The Danish project is expected to be operational in early 2028. Kitron says the investment is aimed at strengthening its production capacity in the region, as demand continues to rise. In parallel, the group has just inaugurated its Longum facility in Norway, a site boosted by the rapid growth of the defense sector.
Together, these developments underline Kitron’s strategy to expand its manufacturing footprint in Scandinavia and reinforce its ability to serve customers in sectors where demand is increasing, particularly defense.
