Summary
For the 13th year, France’s Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region is bringing 35 startups to CES 2026, with backing from Minalogic and the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Entreprises Agency, while three companies earned Innovation Awards and ten will join CES Unveiled. Regional President Fabrice Pannekoucke and VP Stéphanie Pernod highlight the initiative as a strategic move to reinforce the region’s global competitiveness and innovation leadership. The delegation spans sectors like health tech, sustainable mobility, and next-gen textiles, aiming to accelerate market entry and forge international partnerships.

For the 13th consecutive year, France’s Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region will bring a curated delegation of 35 startups to CES 2026, the world’s largest innovation expo, which draws 140,000 visitors, 4,500 exhibitors—including 1,400 startups from 160 countries. Organized in partnership with digital cluster Minalogic and the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Entreprises Agency, the mission includes a comprehensive support program spanning pre-show preparation, on-site assistance, and post-event follow-up to maximize business impact.

The exhibiting startups span six key sectors: next-generation textiles, sustainable mobility, health technologies, next-gen construction and infrastructure, embedded systems, and low-carbon solutions. Examples range from Aemotion’s agile electric vehicle merging motorcycle freedom with car safety to Bienesis’s robotic canopy that shields vineyards from climate hazards, and from Asygn’s ultra-low-power AI vision chip to HB Materials’ bio-based, PFAS-free waterproofing for packaging and textiles. The full list of 35 companies is published in the official delegation materials.

Alongside the exhibitors, a curated visitor program led by the regional economic development agency will immerse 17 additional companies, three universities, and other economic stakeholders in the CES ecosystem, helping them scout partners and prepare for future exhibiting.

Three delegation members received CES Innovation Awards this year, including Mountain, an Isère-based startup deploying autonomous AI vision sensors for remote infrastructure monitoring. Ten startups from the group will also present at CES Unveiled, a pre-show media event that spotlights breakthrough technologies: Iotize, Swiift, Live Vendor, Asygn, Allergen Alert, HKN, Aemotion, Bienesis, HB Materials, and MP Geotex.

Region President Fabrice Pannekoucke underscored the strategic rationale: “With more than thirty companies represented, our region once again demonstrates its leadership in innovation. We have chosen to invest in our entrepreneurs, engineers, and startups because they build tomorrow’s value, jobs, and sovereignty.” First Vice-President Stéphanie Pernod, in charge of economy and digital affairs, added that in a tense global economic climate, competitiveness and resilience require “fertile ground for innovation—accelerating research, attracting and retaining businesses, rebuilding industrial capacity, and supporting talent, particularly in international markets.”

Minalogic CEO Erasmia Dupenloup called CES “a milestone for our ecosystem and an outstanding opportunity,” and stressed the cluster’s full mobilization alongside the region to prepare and amplify exhibitor impact. The cluster’s delegate CEO noted the event’s role in raising the region’s international profile as an innovation leader.

The delegation’s ongoing presence at CES—consistent since 2015—reinforces Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes’s position as one of Europe’s most dynamic technology hubs. By exposing deep tech startups to global investors, corporate partners, and media, the program accelerates the commercialization of solutions ranging from ultrasonic biometrics (ID4US) and AI-driven skin microbiome testing (Byome Labs) to mixed-reality surgery tools (ClearSurgery) and mobile EV charging (ZCE). In a year marked by economic uncertainty, the regional investment aims to secure long-term competitiveness and open new international market channels for its most promising ventures.
