On 3 July 2026, the Chips Joint Undertaking (Chips JU) will host a two-hour online information session (10:00–12:00 CEST) to unveil two forthcoming funding calls designed to bolster Europe’s AI compute infrastructure. The calls target the development and deployment of cutting-edge AI chips and systems, responding to the escalating computational demands of artificial intelligence. The session will set out the policy framework, objectives, and scope, while showcasing partnership opportunities across the continent’s AI compute ecosystem.
The event is tailored for a broad range of players: AI chip design firms, system integrators, cloud service providers, EuroHPC AI Factories and public AI infrastructure operators, data centre operators, power, cooling, and connectivity suppliers, and software and system stack providers, as well as other stakeholders in AI compute deployment.
