Skyworks and Qorvo have unveiled the future leadership team for the company that will emerge from their planned merger, which is expected to close in early 2027. Phil Brace, currently CEO of Skyworks, will lead the combined group.
He will be joined by ten other executives drawn from both companies, including Bob Bruggeworth, the current CEO of Qorvo. The announcement gives a first look at the governance structure of the merged entity as the two U.S. semiconductor companies move toward completing the deal.
The merger itself was signed last October, marking a major consolidation in the RF and mobile chip sector. By naming the future management team now, Skyworks and Qorvo are signaling that integration planning is already underway well ahead of the transaction’s expected completion.
