The Exploration Company has raised €387 million in a Series C round to strengthen its efforts on Nyx, its orbital cargo vehicle, and to accelerate development of its Storm engine. The funding is intended to support two programs with different timelines, while keeping the company’s near-term focus on orbital freight transport and return-to-Earth capabilities.
The company said the capital will help it push Nyx toward the International Space Station and advance Storm in parallel. The announcement underscores The Exploration Company’s strategy of balancing an immediate commercial objective — transporting cargo in orbit and bringing it back safely — with longer-term propulsion development.
