French robotics startup Inbolt has raised €11 million to accelerate its expansion beyond automotive manufacturing and into data centers, building on deployments with Stellantis, Toyota and Ford.
The company, which develops real-time 3D vision guidance for industrial robots, is positioning itself as a software layer that helps robots adapt to changing environments without requiring highly controlled factory conditions. Its technology is already used by major carmakers, and the new funding is meant to broaden its commercial reach and support entry into new industrial markets, especially data centers, where automation needs are growing quickly.
Inbolt’s pitch is that its system enables robots to “see” and react in real time, improving precision in tasks that are difficult to automate with traditional fixed-programming approaches. That capability has made the startup relevant to automotive production lines, where flexibility and speed are critical, and now to data centers, where operators are looking for more efficient ways to handle repetitive infrastructure tasks.
The €11 million round gives Inbolt additional resources to scale sales, deepen product development and pursue international growth. It also reflects investor confidence in industrial AI and robotics software, particularly solutions that can be deployed in complex, dynamic environments rather than only in highly standardized settings.
By targeting data centers after proving its technology with Stellantis, Toyota and Ford, Inbolt is signaling a broader ambition: to become a key automation provider wherever robots need to operate reliably in real-world conditions.
