Exxelia, the French manufacturer of high-reliability passive components and high-performance subsystems, has acquired 90% of CalRamic Technologies via its parent company Heico. CalRamic is a U.S.-based specialist in high-voltage ceramic capacitors serving the aerospace and defense sectors. The deal further embeds Exxelia under American ownership; Heico, which acquired Exxelia in 2023, is orchestrating the bolt-on to strengthen its position in critical hi-rel components for demanding applications. Financial terms were not disclosed.
