Analog Devices has completed its previously announced acquisition of fellow U.S. company Empower Semiconductor. The deal, disclosed in May, aims to bolster ADI’s high-density power management portfolio for AI processors—a move designed to relieve an escalating bottleneck in computing infrastructure, where soaring power demands threaten to constrain performance scaling. The transaction closed on schedule, the company confirmed, though financial terms were not disclosed.
