Thales and Exail Technologies have formalized their tie-up agreement, confirming the acquisition of Exail at €134 per share. The deal, whose negotiation was announced on 6 July 2026, was signed on 30 July 2026 and sets the terms of Thales’ takeover of the French robotics and navigation specialist.

No further operational details were provided in the brief announcement, but the move confirms Thales’ intention to bring Exail Technologies under its control through the agreed valuation and the subsequent compulsory offer.
