OpenChip Software & Technologies has become a 15% shareholder in Kalray after exercising all of its warrants, receiving 2,881,577 new Kalray shares. The move also extends the two companies’ industrial partnership by at least 12 months.
Kalray, which develops hardware and software technologies for intensive data processing, announced on 31 July 2026 that it had received the exercise notice from the Spanish company. The transaction strengthens OpenChip’s position in the French technology group while reinforcing an existing collaboration that now has a longer operational horizon.
The announcement underscores the strategic nature of the relationship between the two companies: OpenChip is not only increasing its equity stake, but also committing to continue working with Kalray on industrial projects for at least another year.
