The Global Electronics Association (GEA), formerly IPC, has appointed Dominik Grau as vice-president for Europe, entrusting him with the leadership of the association’s European strategy at a time when the electronics industry on the continent faces major challenges around resilience and competitiveness.
Grau brings more than 20 years of experience in standardization and digital transformation. His background is expected to be a key asset as the GEA works with industry stakeholders on issues that are increasingly central to Europe’s electronics ecosystem, including supply-chain robustness, industrial competitiveness and the broader modernization of the sector.
The appointment signals the association’s intent to strengthen its European presence under its new identity as the Global Electronics Association. Grau will be responsible for steering that effort across the region and helping the organization respond to the strategic pressures weighing on the industry.
